Enugu ADC governorship candidate pledges healthcare improvements

Ocho Obodoeze, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate for Enugu State, has pledged to improve healthcare delivery across the state's 17 Local Government Areas if elected.

Speaking at an event in Awgu town, Obodoeze highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts between the government, private sectors, and non-governmental organizations to ensure affordable healthcare. He made these remarks during the unveiling of a free life support ambulance service provided by the Obi Ebere Chukwu Awgu Health Mission Foundation Community, supported by the Austrian organization ‘Barmherzigkeit für’.

Obodoeze emphasized that a healthy citizenry is essential for state progress and stated his intention to work with various stakeholders to strengthen the health sector, as well as security, education, transport, and agriculture.
