Enugu State resumes land survey revalidation and digitisation
The Enugu State Government has resumed its Continuous Survey Revalidation and Digitisation Exercise as part of an ongoing programme to digitise land and survey records. Scheduled to run until the end of August 2026, the initiative aims to create a transparent and reliable digital land administration framework.
Landowners, estate developers, surveyors, and property owners are required to submit survey plans, layout approvals, and related documents for verification. These records will facilitate geospatial mapping, digital identity creation, and the issuance of Digital Land Identity Cards.
The exercise is being conducted at five locations: the Enugu State Geographic Information System Service (ENGIS) headquarters, Nsukka Local Government Area Secretariat, Enugu State Ministry of Housing, Enugu State Housing Development Corporation, and the Office of the Surveyor-General.
