Enugu to host Nigeria Union of Journalists Press Week finale

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Enugu Correspondents’ Chapel will hold the grand finale of its 2026 Press Week on Thursday, October 22, at the NUJ Press Centre in Enugu.

Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah is scheduled to serve as the Chief Guest of Honour. The event will feature a guest lecture by the Minister of Works, David Umahi, titled ‘Strengthening Democracy Through Responsible Journalism: 2027 Polls in Focus,’ and a keynote address by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman Ola Olukoyede on the media's role in combating corruption.
