Enugu Tricycle Riders endorse Peter Mbah and Bola Tinubu

The Tricycle Riders Association of Enugu State has endorsed Governor Peter Mbah for a second term and President Bola Tinubu for re-election in 2027. The endorsement was announced during a “One Million March” event at Okpara Square in Enugu.

Association leaders cited improved security, road infrastructure, and social amenities as primary reasons for their support. Specific projects mentioned include the Enugu–Onitsha Road, the Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway, the New Artisan Bridge, and the Obinagu Flyover.

In response to the association's support, Governor Mbah has implemented several measures benefiting tricycle operators, including scrapping a N750 daily payment and extending operational hours from 9pm to 10pm. Additionally, operators will continue to use the state’s modern transport terminals at no cost.
