Enugu youths march to support anti-terrorism campaigns
Youths and residents of Enugu State marched through the state capital to demonstrate support for government efforts to combat insecurity, terrorism, and violent extremism. The group, which included undergraduates and members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), converged at the Government House to pledge their commitment to mobilizing young people against criminal activities.
Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah received the demonstrators, noting that security is a primary focus for his administration's developmental plans. Mbah commended the youths for supporting the anti-crime initiatives of both the state government and the administration of President Bola Tinubu. He stated that increased youth involvement in fighting criminality could lead to significant crime reduction, allowing resources to be redirected toward job creation and poverty eradication.
