Environment Minister Natalia Intotero visits Paltinu and Măneciu dams

Environment Minister Natalia Intotero visited the Paltinu and Măneciu dams to address water supply security. Following the visit, an inter-institutional working group was established to coordinate interventions between authorities, specialists, and academic representatives. This group is tasked with creating a clear schedule of responsibilities and will present its first report on necessary works and progress in two weeks.

The initiative follows previous water supply disruptions in Prahova and Dâmbovița counties caused by malfunctions at the Paltinu dam. Intotero emphasized that ensuring a stable water supply for the population is a top priority and requires collaboration between the National Administration 'Apele Române', local prefectures, and emergency services.
