Bittu Tabahi reports stolen dustbin at Ajnar River

Environmental activist Surendra Singh Choudhary, known as Bittu Tabahi, has expressed deep disappointment after one of the dustbins he installed to protect the Ajnar River was stolen. The 20-year-old activist had placed the bins along the riverbanks in the Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh to encourage the public to dispose of waste properly and prevent the pollution of the river he had spent months cleaning.

In a video shared on social media, Tabahi noted that despite his repeated cleanup efforts, plastic bags and other refuse have begun to accumulate along the riverbanks once again. He emphasized that the bins were provided for public convenience rather than personal use. The theft and the return of litter have prompted social media users to call for stricter fines against litterers and for police involvement to protect the site from further vandalism and pollution.
