Environmental cleaning initiatives held in Isparta and Trabzon

Various environmental awareness initiatives are being conducted in Turkey through community-led cleaning activities. In Isparta, convicts participated in field cleaning operations aimed at reducing environmental pollution and promoting social responsibility. These efforts are part of local municipal goals to maintain public spaces and improve urban cleanliness standards.

In Trabzon, the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Youth Assembly organized a cleaning event at the Ayasofya coast. Local youth collected waste along the shoreline to highlight the importance of protecting natural areas. Abdurrahman Can Aydın, President of the Youth Assembly, stated that these activities are intended to be routine rather than one-off events, aiming to strengthen environmental consciousness across different segments of society.
