Environmental conservation efforts advance in Paraguay and Argentina
In Paraguay, the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MADES) presented the First National Pollinator Monitoring Report during the I National Meeting of Biodiversity, Restoration, and Pollinators. This report provides a scientific foundation for conservation actions and environmental decision-making. Alongside the report, 85 technicians graduated from a specialized course on biodiversity and ecosystem restoration, developed in collaboration with the National University of Asunción and the German Cooperation for Development (GIZ).
In Argentina, representatives from Tucumán participated in an international workshop in Santa Fe focused on native seeds for ecosystem restoration. The event brought together specialists from various provinces to discuss strategies for the collection, conservation, and propagation of native seeds to restore degraded forests and maintain ecological conservation states.
