Environmental fairs planned in Lomas de Zamora and Ciudad Valles

Local authorities in Lomas de Zamora, Argentina, and Ciudad Valles, Mexico, are organizing environmental fairs to promote sustainability and ecological education.

In Lomas de Zamora, the municipality will host the Expo Ambiental at the Emajea premises. The event features workshops on waste separation, circular economy, and native river plants. Activities include birdwatching education by the Zorzal Colorado Bird Observers Club, discussions on the El Niño climate phenomenon, and healthy eating sessions. The event also includes a technical exhibition by students from the Municipal School of Arboriculture, Gardening, and Applied Ecology.

In Ciudad Valles, the municipal government is preparing an Ecoferia scheduled for November 26 at a local primary school. Organized in coordination with Cemex and national agencies such as CONAFOR and CONAGUA, the fair aims to teach children about natural resource protection through educational games, informative modules, and reforestation activities.
