Environmental initiatives promote recycling and cleanup in Poland

Various ecological initiatives and community actions have been undertaken in Poland to promote environmental responsibility and waste management.

In Ostrowiec, the 'EKO OSTROWIEC' campaign held a 'Trash-Art' workshop at a local selective waste collection point (PSZOK). Participants learned about proper waste disposal and the potential for repairing or repurposing items. The workshop included a practical session where residents practiced welding to give discarded objects a second life.

In Łojki, students from the Kornel Makuszyński Primary School participated in the nationwide 'Clean Up the World' campaign. Accompanied by teachers, students collected and segregated waste in the areas surrounding their school to promote environmental stewardship and practical lessons in waste segregation.
