Environmental initiatives scheduled in Grottammare and Cardano al Campo

Various environmental and sustainability initiatives are scheduled in Italy. In Grottammare, the second edition of the Repair Café will take place on September 27, 2026, at Piazza Kursaal. Organized as part of the ‘Volontariato d’aMare’ festival, the event allows citizens to bring small appliances, bicycles, toys, and textiles to be repaired by volunteers and artisans. The initiative aims to prevent premature waste and encourage the transfer of practical repair skills to younger generations.

In Cardano al Campo, the ‘Puliamo il Mondo’ event, promoted by Legambiente, is set for September 19, 2026. The program includes a specific focus on the collection of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RAEE). From September 19 to 27, specialized containers for small electronic devices will be available at the Town Hall, Montessori School, and Usuelli Park to ensure proper disposal and material recovery.
