Envirotainer doubles Mumbai cold chain capacity with new Navi Mumbai station

Envirotainer, a global provider of temperature‑controlled air cargo solutions, has opened its sixth Indian station in Navi Mumbai, doubling the capacity of its existing Mumbai facility.

The new centre offers the full range of active and passive packaging, adds local preconditioning for Parcel and ProofTainer products and will soon host a dedicated repair and service hub. The expansion supports India’s role as a major pharmaceutical exporter, which supplies about 20 % of global generic medicines, 55‑60 % of UNICEF’s vaccines and recorded $30.5 billion in pharma exports in 2024‑25.
