Enyadi Ildikó's 'Csendes barát' Nominated for FIPRESCI Grand Prize

The International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) has placed Enyadi Ildikó’s latest film, Csendes barát, among the five nominees for its annual Grand Prize. The Hungarian‑German‑French co‑production will compete with titles such as One Fight After Another, Hamnet, The Voice of Hind Rajab and Fjord for the award.

The Grand Prize, voted on by FIPRESCI members from more than 80 countries, will be presented at the opening ceremony of the 74th San Sebastián International Film Festival. Enyadi, whose film previously won a FIPRESCI award at the Venice Film Festival in September 2025, joins a slate of acclaimed works that have already collected multiple festival honors.
