Enzo Le Fee signs five-year contract extension with Sunderland

Sunderland midfielder Enzo Le Fee has signed a five-year contract extension that keeps him at the club until June 2031. The French midfielder originally joined the Black Cats on loan in January 2025.

Since his arrival, Le Fee has been a key figure in the club’s recent success, including securing promotion to the Premier League and qualifying for the UEFA Europa League. During the 2025-26 season, he recorded five goals and six assists in 36 appearances, helping the team achieve a seventh-place finish in the top flight.

Sunderland’s Director of Football, Florent Ghisolfi, described Le Fee as an integral member of the squad, noting his quality, intelligence, and humility. The renewal follows recent contract extensions for other players, including Wilson Isidor and Romain Mundle, as part of the club’s strategy to ensure continuity.
