EOD military units conduct recruitment and combat training

Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) units from the United States and United Kingdom have conducted recent operations focused on recruitment and combat readiness.

In the United States, Soldiers from the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center’s EOD Technology Division partnered with the North Jersey Recruiting Company at the New Jersey State Fair. The initiative aimed to highlight technical career paths in science, technology, and engineering through specialized military missions.

In the United Kingdom, personnel from the 521 EOD Squadron, part of the 11 EOD and Search Regiment Royal Logistic Corps, conducted urban warfare training at Catterick Garrison. The exercises included building clearance, live tactical movement, and platoon-level urban tactics to ensure specialists can maintain core soldiering skills while performing bomb disposal and search responsibilities in built-up areas.
