EODY provides free sexual health and STI prevention services in Greece

The National Public Health Organization (EODY) has announced the availability of free, anonymous, and confidential sexual health services across Greece. This initiative coincides with World Sexual Health Day on September 4.

Through a network of specialized Counseling & Examination Offices for Sexual Health, EODY provides several key services from Monday to Friday by appointment. These include rapid testing for HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B and C, Chlamydia, Syphilis, and Gonorrhea. The program also offers vaccination coverage for Hepatitis A, B, and HPV, as well as Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) prescriptions.

Additional support includes psychological counseling, medical guidance on contraception, risk reduction education, and the free distribution of condoms and educational materials. The offices aim to promote sexual health, reduce stigma, and facilitate connections to broader medical care.
