Eoin Morgan linked to Chennai Super Kings head coach role

Morgan, the former England captain who led his country to a 2019 ODI World Cup victory, is noted for his tactical expertise and aggressive leadership style. While he has experience captaining the Kolkata Knight Riders to an IPL final, he lacks formal head coaching experience at the international or franchise levels.

Ashwin also suggested a secondary possibility involving MS Dhoni, noting that Dhoni could potentially take on a caretaker coaching role for one year. Discussions regarding the coaching transition are expected to progress, with a decision potentially arriving within the next week.
