EON Resources Inc. provides production and drilling updates

EON Resources Inc. has released information ahead of its second quarter 2026 earnings call regarding production volumes and drilling operations in the Permian Basin.

In the Grayburg-Jackson Field, oil production is near 900 barrels of oil per day (BOPD), while the South Justis Unit is near 50 BOPD. Overall production decreased by 100 BOPD due to heavy rains affecting local utility power supplies. Gas sales also saw a decline due to midstream gas purchaser curtailments caused by plant maintenance.

Regarding the San Andres horizontal drilling program, two horizontal wells have been successfully completed and are producing. However, the first horizontal well encountered unexpected high-pressure water flow at shallow depths. Following well-control procedures, the company decided to plug and abandon that well. A substitute well is planned for the next drilling phase, anticipated in early 2027.
