Eos Energy Enterprises projects significant Q3 2026 revenue growth

Eos Energy Enterprises has released preliminary third-quarter 2026 financial results, projecting significant revenue growth. The company anticipates quarterly revenue between $82 million and $83 million, representing a year-over-year increase of approximately 169% to 172%.

Despite the rapid top-line growth and a 23% increase in battery shipments compared to the previous quarter, the company's stock experienced volatility, retreating from an early 11% gain to trade lower. Management expects gross profit margins to fall between negative 55% and negative 53%, which would mark an improvement of about 17 percentage points from the second quarter.

The company's backlog reached $765 million at the end of September 2026, an 18.8% increase over the same period last year. Eos Energy focuses on producing American-made zinc batteries for long-duration energy storage, serving sectors such as data centers and defense sites. Production efficiency at the Thorn Hill facility has improved, with the second production line contributing 17% of total battery output during the quarter.
