Disney introduces seasonal Halloween and holiday updates at EPCOT and Disneyland

Disney is implementing various seasonal changes and activities across its US resorts for the 2026 Halloween and holiday seasons.

At EPCOT, the scavenger hunt Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit has returned, running from September 25 through November 2. For $11.99, guests can purchase a game board and stickers to find character-themed pumpkins throughout the park. Participants can redeem their boards for a keepsake even if they do not find every pumpkin. Additionally, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will see an earlier park closing time of 9:00 p.m., resulting in earlier start times for the Candlelight Processional and Luminous shows.

At the Disneyland Resort, hotels are hosting themed celebrations. Pixar Place Hotel features Monsters, Inc. seasonal artwork, while the Disneyland Hotel offers Haunted Mansion-inspired displays. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is showcasing a large-scale Nightmare Before Christmas confectionery display. These locations offer themed dining, character experiences, and seasonal decorations through the autumn season.
