Ephraim Utah Temple begins public open house

The Ephraim Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has commenced its public open house phase. Following a media day on August 31, 2026, and invited guest tours, the public is welcome to tour the facility from September 2 through September 19, excluding Sundays. No reservations are required for attendance.

The 41,680-square-foot structure is located in Sanpete County and serves as the second temple in the county. Its design incorporates motifs that honor the local agricultural history and the Scandinavian heritage of the area's settlers, including wheat, oxeye daisy, and forget-me-not blossoms.

Elder Ronald A. Rasband of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles is scheduled to dedicate the temple on October 11, 2026. This will be the second temple dedicated in Utah this year.
