Epic Games releases Fortnite update to fix Fortnitemares bugs

Epic Games has released Fortnite update 1.000.234 across all platforms to address bugs introduced during the recent Fortnitemares Halloween event. The patch includes balance adjustments, such as increasing the movement speed of Freddy’s Nightmare and improving the accuracy of Dual Fiend Hunters. Additionally, damage from Rebecca’s Guns to structures has been reduced.

The developers identified several known issues to be resolved in future patches, including problems with the Mega Buster’s charged shot, weak point visibility on certain hardware, and issues with custom keyboard bindings for vehicles.

In conjunction with the seasonal event, players can obtain the Gold Punk skin by purchasing and redeeming a Fortnite Gift Card between October 2 and October 31, 2026. This promotion is available in select regions, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and several European and Asian countries.
