Epiphone reissues Joan Jett Olympic Special signature guitar

Epiphone has released a reissue of the Joan Jett Olympic Special signature guitar. The 2026 edition commemorates the 45th anniversaries of Jett’s albums ‘Bad Reputation’ (1980) and ‘I Love Rock ’N Roll’ (1981).

Inspired by Jett’s original Epiphone Olympic and her Gibson Melody Maker, the new model features a Vintage Sunburst finish. The instrument is built with a lightweight, asymmetrical double-cutaway mahogany body and a glued-in mahogany neck. It includes a rosewood fretboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and pearloid dot inlays.

Designed for a no-frills rock performance, the guitar is equipped with a single PowerHammer ProBucker pickup, a CTS volume potentiometer, and an on/off toggle switch. The headstock features die-cast tuners, a Graph Tech nut, and a gold reproduction of Jett’s signature. The model is priced at $599 and is available through authorized dealers and Epiphone’s website.
