Episcopal priest claims God is non-binary and Jesus is transgender

Reverend Flourish Klink, a transgender non-binary individual, has drawn attention following a sermon delivered at Christ & St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in New York City. During the sermon, Klink asserted that God is non-binary and that Jesus Christ is transgender.

Klink stated that God was assigned a gender at birth and that it later became clear that the assigned gender was not correct. The sermon further claimed that denying the transgender nature of Jesus is equivalent to denying the divinity of Christ. The remarks, originally delivered in March for the Trans Day of Visibility, have recently gained significant attention after being shared online.
