Epomaker and Keychron debut new high‑performance mechanical keyboards

Epomaker introduced two variants of its HE series, the HE75 V2 magnetic analog keyboard and the HE75 V2 TMR keyboard. Both retain the same premium chassis, RGB lighting, tri‑mode connectivity (Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz wireless, wired) and 4000 mAh batteries. The HE75 V2 uses Epomaker’s Creamy Jade magnetic switches, hot‑swap magnetic mount, gasket‑mounted design with multi‑layer sound‑dampening, and software that lets users adjust actuation distance, SOCD, DKS and macro settings. The HE75 V2 TMR replaces Hall‑effect sensing with tunnel magneto‑resistance (TMR) technology, delivering higher‑resolution signal output and greater input precision while still supporting magnetic or mechanical switches.

Keychron released the K2 Ultra 8K, a 75% layout keyboard aimed at gamers and typists. It features an 8000 Hz polling rate, RGB lighting, hot‑swappable switches with sound‑absorbing foam, and a premium build weight. The keyboard offers both wired and wireless operation, customizable key mapping, and OS compatibility. Reviewers note its fast response, bright lighting and solid typing feel, though wrist‑rest support is absent. The K2 Ultra 8K retails for about €135 (£120).
