EPR Group conducts road safety education programs in Minas Gerais
The EPR Group, through its various concessions, has implemented the Conviver Program to promote road safety and responsible traffic culture among children and adolescents in Minas Gerais, Brazil.
In the Sul de Minas region, EPR Sul de Minas and EPR Vias do Café mobilized approximately 650 students across Pouso Alegre, Santa Rita do Sapucaí, and Alfenas. Activities included lectures, rescue vehicle simulations, and interactive spaces like ‘Transitolândia’ to teach signaling and safe crossings. The initiative also includes health projects, such as planned ocular health services.
Additionally, EPR Via Mineira, which manages the BR-040 highway between Belo Horizonte and Juiz de Fora, conducted educational activities at the Dr. Victorino Ribeiro Municipal School in Congonhas. This action targeted 46 elementary students, using educational models and interactive games to teach traffic light recognition and safe pedestrian behavior.
