EPS completes assembly of second rotary excavator for Radljevo mine

Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) has completed the assembly of a second rotary excavator for the Kolubara surface mine, Radljevo. Dušan Živković, director of EPS, stated that system checks are currently underway, with the machine expected to be ready for transport to its work site by October 15.

Živković emphasized the importance of meeting deadlines and ensuring experienced operators are trained for this high-value mining machinery. Additionally, preparations are underway for the transport of a large-capacity conveyor/stacker (bandwagon) for the Polje E system, intended to increase coal and overburden production. The Ministry of Mining and Energy noted that previous production challenges at RB Kolubara have been overcome, with production volumes reaching planned targets.
