EPS Sanitas announces changes to pharmaceutical managers in Colombia

EPS Sanitas has announced a restructuring of its pharmaceutical management network, effective October 1, 2026. This change will affect medication dispensing across several Colombian departments, including Bogotá, Cundinamarca, Antioquia, Santander, Tolima, Huila, and Nariño.

In Bogotá, Colsubsidio will replace Audifarma as the manager for non-PBS (Plan de Beneficios en Salud) medications at specific locations, including Calle 26, Portal Norte, Clínica Roma, and Unicentro Occidente. Cruz Verde will continue dispensing medications in Bogotá until October 31.

Regional transitions vary: Cundinamarca will utilize Disfarma and Colsubsidio; Antioquia will largely rely on Ramédicas; Santander and Tolima will transition primarily to Disfarma; and in Nariño, Ramédicas will provide services, primarily through home delivery. The EPS confirmed that currently valid medical prescriptions remain valid despite these changes, but affiliates are advised to verify their assigned operator and service modality to avoid unnecessary travel.
