Epsilon Industries expands Tuscaloosa plant, adds 26 jobs

Epsilon Industries broke ground on a more than $15 million expansion of its Tuscaloosa manufacturing facility. The 65,000‑square‑foot project will create 26 new, high‑quality jobs and increase capacity for the company's prefabricated modular utility systems, which include boilers, chillers, and electrical infrastructure.

Company President Chris Wiederick highlighted the confidence in the local workforce, while U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville, Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox, and Justice Smyth of the Tuscaloosa County Economic Development Authority attended the ceremony. Officials noted that the expansion will benefit the community beyond direct employment, supporting public services and infrastructure. The original 2023 investment established the plant and created 180 jobs, underscoring Epsilon’s ongoing commitment to the region.
