Epson and Reforestamos México restore four hectares in Nevado de Toluca

Epson Mexico and Reforestamos México A.C. have reached a three-year milestone in their strategic partnership to restore vegetation in the Nevado de Toluca National Park. The collaboration has successfully restored four hectares through the planting of native species, such as oyamel, to support mountain ecosystems and water basin services.

During the most recent session, corporate volunteers and supply chain members planted 700 trees in the Cerro Gordo area. The project is part of Epson’s Environmental Vision 2050, a global corporate plan aimed at mitigating climate change by reducing indirect emissions and promoting biological carbon capture in protected natural areas.
