The Epson EcoTank series, including models like the ET-2800 and L3350, is noted for its refillable ink tank system designed to reduce long-term printing costs. Unlike traditional cartridge-based inkjet printers, these devices use ink bottles to provide high-volume printing capabilities.

The Epson L3350 can print up to 8,300 black or 6,500 color pages with its included ink supply, which can last a typical household two to three years. The system utilizes Micro Piezo print heads that operate via mechanical movement rather than heat, which Epson describes as a permanent component of the device.

Other consumer options include the HP DeskJet 2855e, which offers a low entry price but is limited to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and the Canon PIXMA TS4320, which features a compact design and duplex printing capabilities.
