Epson EcoTank printers see price reductions

Epson is offering discounts on its EcoTank series of multifunction printers, which utilize refillable ink tanks instead of traditional cartridges to reduce long-term operating costs.

The EcoTank ET-2951 is available at MediaMarkt for 229 Euro, down from a suggested retail price of 359.99 Euro. This model features wireless connectivity via WLAN or mobile apps, automatic duplex printing, and a resolution of 4,800 x 1,200 dpi. Its integrated tank system allows users to refill ink using bottles, which is intended to be more cost-effective and environmentally friendly.

Additionally, the EcoTank ET-2922 is being offered at a reduced price of 186.90 Euro. This model is designed for high-volume users, such as those working from home, and claims to reduce ink costs by up to 95 percent compared to cartridge-based systems. However, the ET-2922 lacks an automatic document feeder for the scanner and requires manual paper turning for duplex printing.
