Epson International Pano Awards 2026 announces winners
The 17th Epson International Pano Awards have concluded, featuring 4,084 entries from photographers across 93 countries. The competition highlights the ability of panoramic photography to capture expansive landscapes, cityscapes, and celestial views that standard aspect ratios often miss.
Spanish photographer Daniel Viñé Garcia was named Open Photographer of the Year. His winning work features the Parinacota Volcano in Chile, a snow-covered cone rising above 6,300 metres. The image was created from a 360-degree aerial panorama consisting of 33 individual exposures captured during sunset.
The winning portfolio spans diverse subjects, including high-altitude mountain ranges, urban perspectives, and the Milky Way, demonstrating the technical interplay between timing, equipment setup, and post-processing.
