Epson invests KES 19.4 million to expand Nairobi regional office

Epson has announced a KES 19.4 million investment to expand its regional office in Nairobi, Kenya, increasing its local footprint by 50%. The expanded facility will serve as a regional hub for East Africa, featuring a dedicated showroom and demonstration area to support training, partner enablement, and in-market services.

The expansion is integrated into Epson’s broader regional growth and sustainability strategy. As part of its Environmental Vision 2050, which aims for carbon negativity, the company has extended the use of renewable energy certificates (RECs) to 10 sites across the META-CWA region, including its Kenyan operations. Between March 2025 and April 2026, Epson purchased 416 MWh of RECs to match the electricity consumption of these sites.

In addition to infrastructure growth, Epson is introducing its latest FY26 product portfolio to the Kenyan market. This includes the EcoTank printer range, which utilizes Micro Piezo Heat-Free technology designed for energy efficiency and lower running costs, as well as new portable entertainment projectors.
