Epson has introduced Document Capture Pro, a software solution designed to assist businesses in transitioning physical paperwork into digital workflows. The platform integrates with compatible Epson DS series scanners to automate repetitive scanning tasks through up to 30 customizable scan jobs.

The software utilizes Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to convert scanned images into searchable and editable digital text. It supports various file formats, including JPEG, PDF, TIFF, PNG, DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX, allowing users to transform documents into editable Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files.

To improve organization, the system can automatically separate stacked documents into individual files and route them directly to cloud storage services such as Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive. This functionality aims to reduce manual data entry and streamline information retrieval for various sectors, including corporate offices and educational institutions.
