Epson powers immersive Black Water City digital art exhibition in Shanghai
Epson has partnered with ALIGHT to launch the “Never Disappearing Black Water City” immersive digital art exhibition at the ALIGHT ROOM Lafayette Cultural and Art Center in Shanghai. The exhibition utilizes 48 high-brightness laser engineering projectors across a 3,400-square-meter space to digitally reconstruct the history and culture of the Western Xia dynasty and the Black Water City ruins.
Using 3LCD projection technology, the exhibition features five narrative spaces, including a digital sand table, a 180-degree immersive dome, and a 1:1 replica of the Yulin Caves. The technology aims to provide high-color accuracy and long-term stability for displaying historical artifacts and cultural landscapes through immersive light and shadow.
