Michelle disappearance: New links found in Jeffrey Epstein files

New evidence from the Jeffrey Epstein files has brought renewed attention to the 2015 disappearance of Michelle, a 22-year-old German woman who vanished while pursuing a modeling career.

A joint investigation by ZDF, Der Spiegel, and Paper Trail Media analyzed Department of Justice documents, revealing connections between Michelle and Daniel Siad, a Swedish citizen of Algerian origin and model scout. The two met in Dubai in 2012. Documents show that in 2014, Siad sent photographs of Michelle to Epstein, describing her as a ‘wonderful person’ and telling him, ‘You will love her.’

While the files show Siad discussed securing a plane ticket for Michelle and his name appears approximately 1,840 times in Epstein-related communications, investigators have found no direct evidence that Michelle ever met Epstein or was aware her photos were shared. There is also no definitive proof linking Siad to her disappearance. Reports indicate Siad was found dead in Paris in July 2026, leaving the case unresolved.
