EPT Barcelona Main Event field thins to 67 players

The European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona Main Event has progressed to Day 4, with the field narrowing from an initial 1,823 entrants to just 67 remaining players. The tournament features a prize pool of €8,841,550, with the winner set to receive €1,370,050.

Brazil's Fabricio Nociolini holds the chip lead heading into Day 4 with over 2.5 million chips, followed by Joris Ruijsat of the Netherlands and Stefan Alexandru Toderita of Romania. Poker legend John Juanda, a former EPT Barcelona champion, remains in contention and is seeking a historic second EPT Main Event title.

Several notable players were eliminated during recent play, including Nacho Barbero, Parker Talbot, and Barny Boatman. Remaining competitors include Ersin Ical and Min-Sung Lee, who are among the last players representing the D-A-CH region in the hunt for the title.
