Equatorial Alagoas expands infrastructure and service in Alagoas

Equatorial Alagoas is expanding its operations and infrastructure across the state of Alagoas through new service facilities and electrical grid modernizations.

In Coruripe, the company has opened a new, larger, and more accessible customer service center located on Rua da Oliveira. The facility is designed to provide improved support for information requests, service orders, and general inquiries, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Simultaneously, the company is executing the ‘Mais Energia’ program to reinforce the state's electrical system. Key infrastructure projects include the completion of the Marituba Distribution Line in Penedo, which involved an investment of over R$ 8 million to benefit approximately 41,000 customers. Additionally, the capacity of the Maragogi Substation was increased by 50% through a R$ 2.58 million investment, serving roughly 17,500 customers. Work is also progressing on the new Cânions Substation in Piranhas to strengthen the network in the Sertão region.
