Equatorial signals termination of Copasa shareholder agreement

Equatorial, through its subsidiary Gerais Saneamento, has signaled its intention to prematurely terminate a shareholder agreement signed in June with the State of Minas Gerais and the sanitation company Copasa. This move has reignited investor discussions regarding Copasa's corporate governance and shareholder structure.

In separate business developments, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade) has approved Assaí's acquisition of 18 fuel stations from Centro de Conveniências Millennium in São Paulo. The transaction, valued at up to R$ 80 million, is part of Assaí's strategy to expand its convenience ecosystem and leverage the high volume of vehicles visiting its stores.
