Equestrian exhibitions announced in Valledupar and Fuentes de Andalucía
The XIV Grade A Equine Exhibition is scheduled to take place in Valledupar, Colombia, from August 14 to 16 at the Coliseo de Ferias Ganaderas. Organized by the Asociación de Caballistas del Cesar, RIENDAS, the event will feature Colombian Creole horses competing in various modalities, including Paso Fino Colombiano, Trocha Colombiana, Trocha y Galope, and Trote y Galope, following Fedequinas standards.
In addition to horse competitions, the event includes an entrepreneurship fair, an agro-industrial showcase, a business roundtable hosted by the Gobernación del Cesar, a gastronomic zone, and musical performances. Armando Cuello Calderón, president of RIENDAS, noted that the exhibition serves as an economic driver for local sectors such as hospitality, transport, and commerce.
In Spain, the municipality of Fuentes de Andalucía, in collaboration with the Asociación Ecuestre «El Guadarnés», has announced its equestrian programming for the 2026 Fair. Scheduled for August 20 to 22, the program includes traditional horse-drawn carriage rides, a grand equestrian exhibition featuring disciplines such as Alta Escuela and Doma Vaquera, and a donkey race.
