Equestrian traditions celebrated in Blera and Guasila
Various equestrian traditions and competitions are being celebrated across Italy. In Blera, the third edition of ‘Cavalli in piazza’ recently concluded. The event, organized by the municipality and the Associazione Amici del Cavallo Maremmano e Tolfetano, featured the ‘Ritmo’ equestrian show, showcasing diverse skills such as Maremmana riding, high school dressage, and vaulting.
In Guasila, preparations are underway for the 39th edition of the Palio di Santa Maria. This traditional horse race features Anglo-Arabian horses and offers a total prize pool of 25,000 euros, one of the highest in the event's history. The competition is organized by the Associazione Ippica Guasilese and includes acrobatic displays by the Giara oristanese.
