Common issues include lameness, musculoskeletal injuries, loss of athletic ability, and hidden defects. In Chile, the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) is conducting livestock operations in the Ñuble region to support the implementation of mandatory equine traceability. These operations aim to assist rural owners in obtaining their Unique Livestock Role (RUP) and registering their holdings in the Official Livestock Information System.
