Equinix launches global liquid cooling innovation centers

Equinix has introduced the Equinix Enhanced Performance Innovation Centers (EPIC), a global network of production-ready liquid cooling environments designed to support high-density AI infrastructure. The centers allow enterprises to test, build, and deploy GPU and CPU platforms under real-world conditions to address the increasing power and cooling demands of AI workloads.

EPIC is currently operational in Frankfurt, London, Osaka, Paris, and Sydney, with additional locations planned through 2027. By providing access to liquid cooling stacks and expert support, the initiative aims to help companies transition from AI experimentation to full-scale production more efficiently while reducing deployment risks.
