ER Capital reports reduced net loss for first half of 2026

Rotterdam-based real estate company ER Capital reported a reduced net loss for the first half of 2026. The net loss after taxes decreased by 2.5 million euros year-on-year, settling at 1.4 million euros.

Gross rental income saw significant growth, more than doubling to 4.6 million euros, driven largely by the acquisition of Businesspark Geusselt in Maastricht. While real estate costs rose to 1.0 million euros, administrative costs fell by 1.8 million euros to 2.3 million euros due to lower exchange-related expenses. Financial charges increased to 3.1 million euros, primarily to fund recent acquisitions.

Other financial highlights include an increase in equity to 5.0 million euros, supported by investor inflows into the Boreelkazerne fund, and a total balance sheet of 118.5 million euros. The company also entered a joint venture with Blink, part of the Jansen de Jong Groep, for residential redevelopment in Hoofddorp.
