Air Serbia launches twice‑weekly Belgrade‑Brač flights

Air Serbia has inaugurated a seasonal direct air link between Belgrade and the Croatian island of Brač. The route operates twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from the start of the summer season until 12 September. Director of commercial strategy Boško Rupić said the service expands the carrier’s network to attractive Adriatic destinations and makes travel to “one of the most famous islands in Croatia” easier for passengers from Serbia, the region and beyond.

The first aircraft arrived at Brač airport to a welcoming ceremony featuring local performers and tourism officials. Passengers highlighted the convenience, noting that the flight reduced travel time from over an hour by car to about an hour by air. The new connection also offers onward links from Belgrade to major European hubs such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, Rome, Frankfurt, Milan, Oslo, Prague, Vienna and Zurich.
