Era Uma Vez Minha 1ª Vez premieres at Gramado Film Festival
The film “Era Uma Vez Minha 1ª Vez”, an adaptation of Thalita Rebouças’ book, held its first screening at the 54th Gramado Film Festival. Directed by Claudia Castro, the film was presented during a youth session at the Palácio dos Festivais, with free admission provided to local public school students.
The story follows four friends—Teresa, Clara, Tuca, and Patty—as they navigate adolescence, friendship, and sexuality. Rather than treating sexual experiences as a race, the narrative focuses on the individual timing, insecurities, and discoveries of the characters. The film stars Castorine, Duda Matte, Leticia Braga, and Livia Silva.
Produced by Na Paralela Filmes with co-distribution by A Fábrica, the project is a co-production involving Warner Bros. Pictures and RioFilme. It received investment from BRDE through the Audiovisual Sector Fund and Ancine. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release in Brazil on September 17, 2026.
