ERACIS+ program promotes social inclusion in Andalusia
The Andalusian Regional Strategy for Cohesion and Social Inclusion (ERACIS+) has facilitated social and labor inclusion for thousands of people across Andalusia. In Granada, 2,919 individuals have improved their socio-occupational opportunities through the program, while in Córdoba, 1,587 participants have benefited from personalized inclusion itineraries.
Funded by the European Social Fund Plus (FSE+), the ERACIS+ initiative involves a total investment of 168 million euros. The strategy operates across 96 disadvantaged areas in 62 Andalusian municipalities, utilizing the coordination of 48 local entities and 97 social action third-sector organizations. The program is scheduled to run from 2024 until June 30, 2026.
To date, 22,744 people have participated in personalized inclusion itineraries throughout Andalusia. Women represent approximately 70% of these participants, totaling 14,909 individuals. The program aims to strengthen the capacity of community social services and social action entities by incorporating nearly 1,000 professionals over its five-year execution period.
