Eramet Comilog transfers 6.47 billion FCFA in infrastructure to Gabon

Eramet Comilog has officially transferred strategic water and energy infrastructure to the Gabonese state in Moanda, valued at 6.47 billion FCFA. The transfer, conducted as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, aims to improve local access to potable water and public lighting.

In the water sector, the assets include the Cité Lékolo II treatment station, which has a capacity of 12 m³/h and serves 417 homes and 2,022 direct beneficiaries. The transfer also includes two industrial boreholes providing an additional 22 m³/h to the SEEG network and the reinforcement of water booster systems.

Regarding public lighting, Eramet Comilog deployed approximately 6,000 solar streetlights between 2020 and 2026, representing an investment of roughly 5 billion FCFA. The maintenance and operation of these assets will be managed by public operators, specifically SEEG for water and CNEE for lighting, to ensure service continuity for the population of Moanda.
